Kym Henderson reported that the Australia Department of Defence|Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group approved on May 18, 2021 its updated EVM Data Analysis Handbook. The handbook has significantly integrated Earned Schedule into the application of EVM. |

This last April, Keith Heitzman, lead scheduler for the NASA Space Launch System, requested an enhanced version of the ES Calculator vs1f. The forecasts and performance indicators from the vs1f calculator account for stop work and downtime occurrences during project execution. Mr. Heitzman needed this calculator because the project was experiencing interruptions due to Covid-19. The enhanced vs1f calculator provided was expanded from its initial capability of processing 50 periods of EVM data to 200. In discussion with Mr. Heitzman, he provided this statement: “We have used Earned Schedule analysis on the NASA SLS Program for several years now. We have had success with using ES forecast results as input to Schedule Risk Assessments. Projections proved to be very accurate.” |

The Introductory Video to ES was updated and re-posted to the website during May. The reference to the ES Plus book was added and the viewing format changed from aspect ratio 4:3 to 16:9. |
