Project Control Academy has made available the Earned Schedule Master Class from their website (https://members.projectcontroltraining.com/earned-schedule). Students completing this course will receive a certificate of training along with 10 PDUs. PCA has organized the course into modules, a smaller unit than the one hour sections created by Walt Lipke.
As a reminder, the Earned Schedule Master Class in its original section form is available from the Earned Schedule website and the Project Governance and Control website (https://www.pgcs.org.au/papers/es-mc-registration/).
January - June 2023
Walt Lipke’s article, “Schedule is Different,” was first published in the March 2003 issue of the Measurable News, the journal of the College of Performance Management. The article introduced the idea of Earned Schedule. This year marked the 20th anniversary of the creation and was recognized by two groups, the Project Governance and Control Symposium (Australia) and Project Control Academy (USA).
PGCS presented a six hour webinar on March 8, featuring several speakers from around the world. The webinar was broadcast twice for the convenience of world-wide viewers. The webinar is accessible for viewing using the following URL: https://www.pgcs.org.au/library1/2023-es-special-event/
Shohreh Ghorbani of Project Control Academy conducted an hour-long interview with Mr. Lipke, discussing the origin and other aspects of Earned Schedule. The interview may be seen using the URL, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hymrI6QfRTU
On May 22, Walt Lipke presented “Forecasting Project Duration Increase from Rework” at the 2023 University of Texas - Dallas Project Management Symposium
